Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Candlebrook is a diversified real estate company, headquartered in New York City, with operations in seven states. Our expertise is in the development, redevelopment and repositioning of large-scale multi-family, student housing and mixed-use properties. Our investment philosophy is value-oriented, in that we seek to identify underperforming assets with untapped intrinsic value that can be realized by our vertically-integrated team of dedicated professionals.

2017 marks our twelfth year of operation, and is promising to be a landmark year of progress in our existing businesses and growth in new ventures.  We are completing the award-winning redevelopment of 251DEKALB:  a five-building, 650-unit apartment community in King of Prussia, outside of Philadelphia.  We are now in our third year of ownership and operation of Letter9, our  “next generation” student housing platform comprised of highly-branded, lifestyle-oriented and high-quality properties in key markets across the country.  Last, 2016 saw some notable divestitures, including the Vista and Echelon Glen apartment communities in Voorhees, NJ, at a substantial return for our investors.

Candlebrook has been one of the most active acquirers of New York City apartment properties over the last decade, having successfully repositioned over 150 buildings, comprising over 10,000 units, throughout the city. In 2014, we made significant strides in reimagining Broadway Towers, a 120-unit landmark property in Washington Heights. Candlebrook seeks to buy, fix and then monetize underperforming apartment properties in stable, in-fill residential markets. In 2014, Candlebrook completed its disposition of the 440-unit Pheasant Hollow apartment complex in Plainsboro, NJ. We succeeded in transforming the asset through the implementation of a unit renovation program, the addition of a fitness center, redesigning the pool area, and incorporating a children’s playground.  These improvements resulted in superior operating performance and allowed us to attain the highest price per unit ever achieved in the submarket on sale.

In 2017, Candlebrook will complete the redevelopment of 251DEKALB, the apartment community formerly known as The Marquis in King of Prussia, PA.  Ideally located in the heart of Philadelphia’s affluent Main Line, prior ownership allowed the 650-unit complex to fall into serious disrepair.  Upon acquisition in 2014, Candlebrook commenced an ambitious $70 million renovation of all building systems, common areas and apartment units, reintroducing the rebranded property as 251DEKALB.   State-of-the-art residences and a highly curated amenity package include a saltwater swimming pool complete with cabanas and bocce courts; indoor children’s gymnasium designed by Kidville; on-site art gallery with rotating exhibitions of prominent local artists; co-working lobby and coffee bar featuring La Colombe; several Apple tech bars; and a full-service health and fitness program designed to enhance the wellness of our community.  All five buildings opened on-time and on-budget, and our community of residents grows by the month.  Achieved rents have exceeded expectations, and we anticipate 251DEKALB will be the first of an expanding redevelopment pipeline for our firm.

We view student housing as a natural extension of our multi-family businesses, and a space within which we believe our management expertise can produce superior performance.  To capitalize on this opportunity, Candlebrook launched a dedicated student housing platform under the brand Letter9, with the acquisition of a $240 million five-property portfolio comprising over 3,000 beds.
